DTF (direct-to-film) is a full-color print on film with an adhesive layer. You press it onto a garment with a heat press, and it bonds into the fabric. It handles fine detail, gradients and any number of colors.

Spangle transfers are made of small reflective sequin-style dots that catch the light. They're popular for team, school and spirit wear. Spangle orders take 3–5 business days to produce.

DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas and denim, on both light and dark garments. If you're pressing something unusual (nylon, rain jackets, heat-sensitive fabrics), email us first and we'll advise.

Sizes are measured on the longest side of the design:

Need a size not listed? Note it when you send your files. Anything larger than 12 inches should be ordered as a gang sheet.

A gang sheet is one 22.5-inch-wide sheet that you fill with as many designs as fit. You pay by length, starting at $10 for 22.5 x 12 in, up to $100 for 22.5 x 120 in. It's the most affordable way to order many designs or sizes at once. Use our Gang Sheet Builder to lay out your sheet online.

No. You can order a single transfer.

Orders of 15 or fewer individual prints ship cut. Larger orders ship rolled and uncut; when time allows, we cut them into 12 x 22 in sheets.

PNG, or vector files (PDF, AI, EPS, SVG).

• Transparent background (anything that isn't transparent will print)
• At least 300 DPI at the size you want printed 
• Sized to the final print size, or include your dimensions when you send it
• No low-resolution images pulled from the internet; they print blurry

Place your order, then email your files and approximate print dimensions to hello@teeshirtstransfers.com. Include your order number so we can match it quickly. For gang sheets, upload your designs directly in the Gang Sheet Builder.

Yes. If your file isn't print-ready or you need a design created, there's a $25 art fee. Orders that need art work take up to 10 business days instead of 1–3 business days.

Only if you own the design or have permission to print it. By submitting files, you confirm you have the rights to reproduce the artwork. We may decline orders that appear to infringe copyright or trademarks.

Turnaround is production time. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.

Choose a rush option when you order and send print-ready artwork right away. Rush orders placed after the cutoff or on a weekend move to the next business day. For example, a Next Day rush placed Monday at 5:15 pm ships Wednesday. If your art needs work from us, we refund the rush fee and ship within our standard turnaround.

Yes, on orders over $100. Premium Printing Club members get free ground shipping on orders over $75.

Yes. There is an option to choose local pick up before you check out.

Yes, to Canada.

USPS tracking can lag, so give it a few days. A package is considered lost after 15 business days in the postal system; after that, contact us and we'll help. We can't send a replacement before then, and we aren't responsible for carrier delays.

Double-check your address at checkout. If a package comes back to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, you'll need to pay shipping to send it again.

We recommend a heat press, because DTF and spangles need heavy, even pressure. A household iron usually doesn't get hot or press evenly enough. 

If the film lifts when you open the press, cover it with parchment paper before pressing. If the design isn't sticking, you likely have cold spots or uneven pressure: rotate the garment and press again for 5–10 seconds. Still stuck? Email us and we'll troubleshoot with you.

No. Use tweezers to place the dot back before pressing.

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out in cold water, tumble dry low or hang dry, and skip fabric softener.
